CCA TREATED SIDING

 ABOUT THE PRODUCT:

Leslie Bros. Lumber Company’s exterior lap siding is manufactured from some of West Virginia’s most abundant timber specie, Poplar. The 1 x 6" poplar lumbers from which the siding is ripped is first air dried to a moisture content that is suitable for exterior use and then resawed to produce the feathered slope. The siding is then CCA pressure treated to protect against premature decay and insect damage. Finally, the siding is dried again and then bundled for sale.

Every effort is made to produce a high quality product. However, due to the normal drying cycle some pieces will have end splits. To maximize the appearance of your siding, trim away all end splits squarely. When figuring your coverage area, add an approximate 25% additional footage to allow for lap coverage and end splits.
